Illustrateur de formation, mais aussi adepte du volume et de la couleur, l’art de la céramique s’est imposé à moi comme le vecteur essentiel de ma pratique artistique et comme le résumé de mes compétences: dessin, art du modelage, fabrication des émaux pour obtenir la matière et la couleur désirée. J’ai appris la rigueur des émaux avec Eduardo Constantino mais j’aime aussi jouer sur la part de hasard des cuissons de haute températures qui peuvent transcender les thématiques figuratives de mes céramiques.

Josselin Metivier est né en 1990 à Sablé sur Sarthe.
Formation:
2013- Diplôme d’illustration . Ecole Pivaut de Nantes.
2013 et 2014- Apprentissage des techniques de la céramique et des émaux dans l’atelier d’Eduardo Constantino en Bretagne,à Quimperlé.
2015-Installation d’un atelier aux Rairies dans le Maine et Loire.
