Joshua Soleimani

Originally from & based in Los Angeles, CA, 4th generation in the handwoven antique & modern carpet & rug business, being surrounded by beautiful & rare art from around the world, I've always been inspired by various artists specializing in modern/contemporary/abstract paintings & artwork. I made my first painting randomly in my early 20s as a hobby & gradually started making more, getting commission work & custom requests. Combining various materials such as metal, wood, cement, gesso & handmade rug fragments to create more body, character & overall a unique & different style. Some paintings include luminescent paint that glows under a blue/black light creating a cool, unique & magical vibe. My artwork is all made by hand from scratch, generally decorative, contemporary, modern & unique with various textures.
