Avec l’acrylique j’explore d’autres horizons et d’autres aspects de mon esprit. Mes œuvres ont un côté plus sombre qu’avec l’aquarelle. Pour moi, l’acrylique et l’aquarelle sont complémentaires, suivant mon humeur et ma sensibilité du moment, je préfère travailler avec l’une ou l’autre. Je mélange la technique dite « classique » et le « dripping »[...]
Avec l’acrylique j’explore d’autres horizons et d’autres aspects de mon esprit. Mes œuvres ont un côté plus sombre qu’avec l’aquarelle. Pour moi, l’acrylique et l’aquarelle sont complémentaires, suivant mon humeur et ma sensibilité du moment, je préfère travailler avec l’une ou l’autre. Je mélange la technique dite « classique » et le « dripping » (technique consistant à utiliser un ustensile trempé dans de la peinture, pour la laisser ensuite couler sur la toile en un mince filet, technique utilisée par J.Pollock) Mes peintures sont un voyage entre le figuratif et l’abstrait

Jérôme Royer is a contemporary award-winning French artist. Royer's artistic work is centered on the connections between beings and the universe, as a result of his quantum meditation study.
His portraits oscillate between figurative and abstract art and mix the real with the imaginary. From his expressive work to the techniques he employs, martial arts, particularly boxing, meditation, and tai chi chuan, have impacted his paintings. Brushstroke detail coexists with the spontaneity of curves in his compositions, resulting in a dialogue between colors and shapes.
Jérôme Royer was born in 1975, in France. His work has been a part of multiple solo and collective exhibitions in France, notably in Paris and in Reims.
