I am currently living in a mixed world of traditional art materials and computer illustration techniques. While my art spans a variety of styles, I usually tend to border somwhere on the surreal. The one constant in my art is probably the edge of abstraction along which my work seems to walk. As a self taught artist, I never learned the 'boundries' of genres, or the 'correct' techniques to use. This allows me the ability to blur those boundries, creating unique imagery using a variety of unconventional techniques.
My artistic influences are drawn mainly from past and present day artists with somewhat of a gestural and/or surrealistic style (Ash Wood, Egon Shiele, Nathan Oliviera, Francis Bacon, Heironymous Bosch, Gustave Klimt), and modern-day illustrators (Barron Storey, Dave Mckean, Kent Williams, Phil Hale).
