"Fine-Arts" prints on paper
It is a process of printing on art paper using very high-quality pigment inks and printed in very high definition. Its level of conservation is exceptional (more than 100 years), its quality, depth, and richness of nuances exceeds the classic photo print on Argentic paper.
Glossy finish
Apart from its exceptional thickness, the fiber paper is composed of an alpha-cellulose base without acid and it is covered with barium sulphate, and a microporous layer absorption enhancing pigments during printing. A pure white color, non-yellowing to light, this paper is especially designed for resistance and aging. It is used by major museums worldwide as it offers excellent resolution, rendering deep and dense colors.

De eerste foto die hierbij is gevoegd en is uitgevoerd in de kleuren roze, grijs, bruin, groen, blauw en zwart.
Het is gedrukt met Caligo Safe Wash olieverf in 12 lagen.

Ik ben ruim twee maanden bezig geweest met het ontwerp en het printen. In totaal 54 uur.
Mijn inspiratie komt van William Morris die naar mijn idee prachtige prents heeft gemaakt. Het is een Art Nouveau stijl.
Mijn atelier ligt in een landelijke omgeving, en ik hoor de schapen, paarden en geiten als ik zit te schilderen.
Ik hou van dieren en schilder ze graag.
Dit is een gevarieerde uitgave. Elke print is met de hand gedrukt en is net ietsje anders. Ik heb de roller misschien iets anders gebruikt of een kleur iets anders gemengd.
Het is een verkleinde linodruk, in die zin dat voor elk van de bedrukkingslagen meer lino wordt weggesneden. Zodra ik een laag bedrukking heb voltooid en in het lino ben gaan snijden, is er geen weg meer terug en kunnen fouten niet worden gecorrigeerd of wijzigingen worden aangebracht, dus er is veel zorg en planning vereist. Deze afbeelding heeft 12 snij- en printlagen.

Jennie Smallenbroek is a contemporary Dutch artist. Smallenbroek is a visual artist and teacher, textile and surface graphic designer, textile and pattern designer. Her work is mainly focused on handmade illustration and pattern design applied to various products and surfaces, and is the result of a multidisciplinary learning process involving fashion, fine arts, and textiles.
Smallenbroek studied the techniques of the old masters and has a passion for classical painting. Taught by a number of prominent Dutch artists, such as Cornelis Le Mair and Sam Drukker and followed several courses in Italy at the Angel Academy of Art with Michael John Angel and at the Florence Academy of Art in Sweden.
Jennie Smallenbroek was born in 1966, in the Netherlands. She exhibited her works both nationally and internationally. She is an "Arc Living Artist" at the Art Renewal Center in New York, a foundation dedicated to the revival of realism in visual art.
