Nascido em Itápolis, interior de São Paulo, Waldomiro de Freitas Sant’Anna passou toda a sua infância e adolescência em Santa Rita do Passa Quatro, SP, saindo de lá em 1971 para cursar a Faculdade de Belas Artes de São Paulo atendendo a sua vocação nata, com 19 anos fez a primeira exposição individual no XI Festival Zequinha de Abreu, em Santa Rita, dando início a uma carreira muito produtiva. Fez vários cursos teóricos e práticos, frequentou atelier de pintores, lecionou artes. Deixou a Universidade Estadual de Londrina-PR para trabalhar na Secretaria de Estado da Cultura de São Paulo, demitindo-se no início da década de oitenta para não mais dividir seu tempo entre o atelier e outra atividade, passando a dedicar-se ainda mais a sua pintura. Participou de inúmeras exposições coletivas e individuais no Brasil, EEUU, China, Itália, Portugal e França. Possui obras em acervos particulares e galerias de vários países.
