Jocelyne Iché, née en 1954 et originaire de La Rochelle, je me suis établie depuis plusieurs années à Saintes.
Peintre autodidacte ; c'est à partir de l’automne 2008, à la suite d'un voyage en Inde, que je décide de me consacrer pleinement à ma passion : la peinture.
Après une brève période à réaliser des œuvres au pastel gras, je m'oriente vers l'acrylique ; trouvant ainsi un matériau qui convient parfaitement à mon style.
Comme beaucoup, je débute avec des tableaux figuratifs, mais, très rapidement je m'oriente vers l'abstrait, afin de pouvoir mêler sans vergogne l'énergie du trait et la douceur des couleurs.
Avec ce style, je peux ainsi laisser s'exprimer et extérioriser mon imaginaire, tout en faisant des recherches sur les couleurs, l'ambiance et le mouvement.
Ainsi, mes œuvres sont souvent surréalistes, éthérées, à la limite du rêvé et donnent à l'observateur une vaste palette d'émotions, sans jamais lui apporter de réelles réponses.
