Iustina graduated from the Fine Arts Academy in Iasi, Romania, with the highest grades in Clothing Design, Interior Design and Iconography. Iustina has always tried to understand and capture colours and forms ever since she first began to draw; they never cease to amaze her, being a perpetual challenge. That is how she feels and why she paints. It is somehow like a ‘struggle’ with colour and form in the sense of searching and experimenting with new ways to capture the essence of things. Those who own her works can attest to all the details which are impossible to see in a photograph. Whilst painting, she is always restless to explore and do more. She has experienced intense moments of self-discovery. She has always painted with oils because only they have the richness of tone and versatility necessary to her expression.
