Qual è l'origine della tecnica pigmenti

Verniciatura realizzata utilizzando polveri colorate sospese in un legante liquido per ottenere una vernice o inchiostro. I pigmenti, che spesso visualizziamo come particelle di colore, sono, infatti, sostanze chimiche coloranti e solubili che permettono così la tintura di un oggetto, o di un'opera. Integrati nella maggior parte dei materiali artistici (inchiostri, pastelli, guazzo, acrilico, acquerello, tempera, olio, ecc.), questi pigmenti possono essere di origine naturale o sintetica. In arte i pigmenti più usati sono: blu indaco, lapislazzuli, rosso carminio, ocra rossa, giallo zafferano, gum-gutte, verde vescica, verde cobalto, viola di Marte, capuut mortum, marrone Van Dyck, nero avorio, bitume di Giudea , così come il bianco di zinco.
