Né en 1941 LIANG WanCheng se met étudier la peinture depuis 1962. Longtemps ses peintures sont inspirés par des peintres Ruisses et des impressionnistes françaises. Avoir avoir fait des voyages d'études dans la région de MIAO, une minorité qui vit au sud-ouest de la Chine. LIANG WanCheng est vraiment touché par la simplicité et la générosité de la culture aborience telle que l'art décoratif de leurs coustumes. Après cette expérience inoubliable LIANG WanCheng décide de consacrer son thème à la déscription de cette culture.
A la fois figuratif mais impressionniste l'énergie qui se dégage de la toile nâit des rencontres: coutumes avec des couleurs vivantes, ornés par des accessoirs décoratifs, des villageois en plein de travail dans le champ ou au marché ou encore en regardant loin avec la couche du soleil... LIANG WanCheng exprime tous son amour pour cette terre sacré et cette tranquillité.
C'est par la matière et la couleur, permises par la technique de la peinture à l'huile mais la thème des tableaux que LIANG WanCheng parvient de créer un style qui lui est très personnel.
