Piero Racchi è un artista italiano contemporaneo. La sua attività artistica inizia con la grafica, che è stata il suo primo amore, per poi passare alla pittura ad olio, dipingendo ambientazioni surreali. Dopo varie tecniche e sperimentazioni, ha realizzato una personale serie di dipinti multimaterici intitolata "viste spaziali".
I suoi dipinti e le sue sculture hanno un unico titolo NATURA E ARTIFICIALE e significato: la natura che cerca disperatamente di liberarsi dalla schiavitù umana. Essa, con le sue lunghe dita vegetali, si snoda, si aggroviglia, penetra in ogni anfratto e buco dei gelidi e ambigui manufatti umani e, come un lenzuolo sepolcrale, con la presunzione di far nascere un nuovo ciclo di vita, li ricopre.
