L'Art brut s'impose à moi après de nombreuses années à peindre en passant du figuratif à l'abstrait. Malgré beaucoup de reconnaissance pour avoir reçu de nombreuses commandes pendant plusieurs années, c'est aujourd'hui à l'art brut assumé que je me consacre. Ma découverte du travail de Paul Duhem pose les fondations de mon approche décomplexée du standard, et de la transgression. Aucun enjeu ni aucune volonté de s'inscrire dans un mouvement académique ou tendance actuelle. Simplement un besoin primaire et intuitif de construire sur papier et sur toile ma version de thèmes qui me sont chers, les messages et symboles archaïques que l'on retrouve sur des pièces archéologiques qui prouvent le besoin de l'homme de mettre dans sa vie de l'Art, de la représentation, des symboles qui nous dépassent. La recherche du mouvement et de la cinétisation fait également partie intégrante de ma démarche artistique. On retrouve dans mes dessins et tableaux un travail de la matière dans laquelle l'illustration devient annexe, comme le support poétique d'une abstraction. De la couleur brute aux nuances de gris les méandres inspirés des gravures néolithiques se devinent. Dans la même volonté que nos ancêtres ont réalisé des gravures, je tente d' inscrit mon passage comme une trace possiblement inspirante.
