Agnese Kurzemniece è un'artista lettone che vive e lavora a Riga. Ha studiato pittura alla Janis Rozentāls Riga Art High School e ha ulteriormente affinato le sue capacità presso il Dipartimento di grafica della Latvian Academy of Arts. Inoltre, ha ampliato la sua competenza nelle tecniche di incisione presso il laboratorio non tossico di Henrik Boeg in Spagna.
I lavori recenti di Agnese si concentrano principalmente sulla pittura acrilica, dove si basa su temi tratti dalla sua arte grafica, esplorando in particolare la natura in evoluzione delle donne e del loro mondo. I suoi dipinti approfondiscono il concetto di rifugio, utilizzando i paesaggi come motivo simbolico e concettuale.
Agnese ha partecipato a numerose mostre collettive locali e internazionali e ha tenuto diverse mostre personali. Le sue opere sono ospitate in collezioni di spicco, tra cui il Rothko Museum e vari musei lettoni come quelli di Ventspils, Ogre e Preiļi. La sua arte fa anche parte di collezioni private in tutto il mondo. Agnese è membro della Latvian Artists' Union e della Latvian Graphics Chamber.
