Увлекался графикой и акварелью, но попробывать себя в живописи маслом решил недавно. Его вдохновляет живописная природа Латвии - лес и море. Он ходил в студию рисования, брал уроки живаписи, посещал мастер-классы профессиональных художников. Рисует в свободное от работы время, когда есть возможность, но хотел бы посвещать этому больше времени. Рисовать тянет особенно после путешествий, когда переполняют эмоции и хочется перенести на холст свои впечатления. Для него живопись это в своём роде медитация. Не всегда есть нужные слова, чтобы высказаться, но в картинах я могу выразить свои чувства. Мои рисунки и картины нравятся моим друзьям и близким и это вдохновляет меня на новые работы.
