Chantal MARTIN, artista autodidatta. Da bambino il disegno era la sua grande passione. Da adolescente, ha iniziato a dipingere quando suo padre le ha regalato una scatola di colori ad olio.
Dopo una pausa di 25 anni, ha ripreso in mano i pennelli nel 2014, quando i figli sono cresciuti e hanno lasciato il nido familiare. Da allora, è ovvio, il desiderio di dipingere è sempre stato presente....
All'inizio il suo stile è piuttosto figurativo, poi a poco a poco sperimenta sfondi astratti con aggiunte di materiali: pigmenti , malta di sabbia, collage, alla ricerca di nuovi effetti. I colori diventarono più accesi, i soggetti più allegri e leggeri.
Prima mostra e prima vendita nel 2014 poi numerose mostre collettive e personali a GARD e LOZERE.
