Philippe Berthier è un fotografo autodidatta che crea immagini che confondono i confini tra fotografia e pittura. È affascinato dalle immagini di tutti i formati, sia cinematografici che digitali, e talvolta aggiunge vernice ad esse.
È particolarmente attratto dai temi delle donne, della vita e del movimento in generale. Il suo lavoro è caratterizzato dalla sperimentazione di vari metodi di creazione, collage su diversi supporti, l'uso di vari materiali... Come un alchimista nella sua tana, il laboratorio è per lui un campo di esperienza a parte.
Philippe Berthier è un artista francese, nato nel 1966 nel Maine et Loire, che attualmente vive e lavora a Trébeurden (Francia). Il suo lavoro è stato pubblicato sulla rivista Artension (Francia) e ha partecipato a numerose mostre.
