The series of works skillfully combines the landscape with the jugs living in it.
Distinquished artwork according to ArtAscent magazine (V51 Connection October 2021).
Art of the day according to ArtPal.
Selected artwork - Loupe Art open call.

A series of these works addresses the hidden parts of our identity through the prism of religious beliefs, which to one degree or another are deep in the labyrinth of our consciousness. By analogy, the artist tells us that a person is a vessel, a kind of container of experience, knowledge and preconceptions, born from stardust, just like everything around us. Each of us is unique and imperfect, as well as each of the jugs. It depends on us how to fill ourselves, but we are all subject to the influence of the environment. All jugs are interconnected, create a common composition, and communicate with each other through color, light, absorbing and reflecting in their surfaces images of other jugs and the environment. The world is open in front of us, somewhere it is inhabited and well-studied, somewhere there is nature untouched by man, and somewhere new settlements can be seen next to ancient ruins. In the world of the future, a person will always have white spots on the maps - both of the earth and space.

Series consist of:
1. Sunrise in Spring: "I associate this work with a soft, calm morning, when the city has not yet woken up and you can enjoy the silence over a cup of coffee, admire the sunrise and think about those you love."
2. Noon in Summer: "Noon in Summer - When I look at this work, I experience those emotions when, in the middle of the summer, I left for the village, and there I felt how life was in full swing around, nature was filled with strength and a sense of unity arose in my soul."
3. Autumn sunset: "Autumn sunset - The first cool nights, and I'm already waiting for the falling leaves to decorate the workshop. Autumn sunsets are especially colorful, aren't they? This is a great time to reflect on your life and dream about something bigger."
4. Winter midnight: "Winter midnight - Winter night, how nice it is to feel the crunch of snow under your feet, when the moonlight floods everything inside. Usually at such moments I ask what good I have done in my life and it gives me inspiration to set plans for the next cycle."

Alex Victor Ihnatenko (AVI) is a native of Mykolaiv, Ukraine. Although he was born into a family filled with artists, sculptors, and skilled craftsmen, AVI began drawing at the age of 1. As a child, he found great joy in drawing and often spent most of his time drawing dozens of pictures a day. Of objects, people, and animals that he observed. Up until his teenage years, AVI wanted to pursue an artistic career. However, after the fall of USSR his family experienced financial difficulties and it caused him to pursue a more marketable degree in Economics at Kyiv National University of Trade and Economic on a full ride scholarship.

After graduating, AVI had a short stint in the marketing department at a real estate development company. Soon after he left and started his own business. Along with his mother, AVI opened a children’s center, named Da Vinci Workshop, that flourished into a school for young children. It specialized in providing a curriculum that concentrated on art and mathematics. One of the great achievements of the school was displaying the children’s work at The Central House of Artists in Kiev. Up until then, the center only featured works from professional artists. Another great achievement the school provided was that it inspired and reintroduced AVI to his love of making art.

Hence, in 2017, AVI enrolled in The Kiev Academy of Applied Arts and Design for formal art training. After studying a four-year program in three years, in 2020, he graduated with a Bachelor of Arts. His senior thesis, “The Birth of an Artist”, received the highest assessment.

Currently, AVI resides in Barcelona, Spain, and is a full time artist specializing in painting, sculpturing, and creating stained glass. The artist's artworks are in private collections around the world.

More than 100 artworks have been sold on different marketplaces
