During the 53rd Venice Biennial, the MACIA Museum of Italian Contemporary Art in America located in San José (Costa Rica) will present the exhibition:

The vernissage will take place on June, 26th 2009 at 4:30pm at the University Ca’ Foscari, Economy Faculty, San Giobbe (ex slaughterhouse). The exhibition will end on July, 26th 2009.

The 53rd International Exhibition of Art includes also 38 collateral events, organised by International bodies and Institutions that will prepare their exhibitions and initiatives in Venice in conjunction with the Biennial.
On June 26th the Museum of Italian Contemporary Art in America located in San José (Costa Rica) committed in promoting abroad the Italian contemporary art will examine the work of the following Italian artist: Andrea Cardia, Alberto Felli and Marco Tarascio.
From many years, the Museum curators’ work is dedicated to a politics of approach to the culture of Italian visual arts, where the search for modernity has to occur through its own roots.
The Museum gives room to the emerging Italian artists representatives of those aspects belonging to the Italian visual perception.
