ART Re-Source offers a memorable week of Art and related activities based in the beautiful Provencal village of Tourrettes sur Loup, poised above the Gorge du Loup with breathtaking views over the French Riviera, and in the neighbouring town of Vence, where the unique light has attracted many famous painters.
Many other activities will be on offer. The week is ideal for singles, couples, and for couples in which one partner would like to focus on non-art activities. The local visits will take you to some of the breathtaking parts of the Riviera.
Among the various scheduled painting activities, the Art Re-Source unique accent is on experiencing a deeper discovery of the influential painters such as Picasso, Nicolas de Stael, Nicky de Saint Phalle as well as contemporary artists, by visiting local museums and galleries in Nice, Cannes and Antibes. The stimulation of creativity comes from the inspiration and energy of our admiration of other artists and Masters.
Your personal tutor Ica Saez is a renowned painter from the south of France. She is a passionate, experienced and inspiring teacher. The week is structured around each individual’s need. You will explore and discover your unique creative talent. You will leave with your own painting or we will send it to you.
The areas covered include: breaking the fear of the white canvas, perspective, composition and color balance.
Marie-Pierre will help to organise your non-painting and outdoor activities.
Be prepared for some extra pleasant surprises!

Programme: Students work in the morning; the afternoons are organized to explore local museums and galleries between Nice, Antibes and Cannes to increase art knowledge and discover in more depth significant painters (Picasso, Matisse, Chagall, de Stael) as well as contemporary art. There will also be local visits and sampling of local food.
Group size is minimum 4 people, maximum 6. Participants of all levels and ages are encouraged to join.
All painting materials are supplied except canvasses which are sold at cost.
