From a young age Helen showed an aptitude for art, growing up in England in a housing estate but surrounded by farms, she fell in love with horses, a love that has lasted and grown stronger. Primarily an equine artist, she also portrays other domestic animals, wildlife and occasionally, human portraiture. Her portfolio now includes, private commissions, original art, Fine Art prints and greeting cards.

Mostly self taught, she has learnt by feeling her way, by watching and aspiring to other artists and figuring out techniques that suit. Her favorite medium is Acrylic, enjoying the speed that matches her quick thought processes as she paints. Having a thirst for learning, she has now expanded to include, pastels, color pencils, graphite drawings and her latest obsession, scratch board.

She has work hanging with private clients and collectors Australia wide and overseas, in the United States, Canada, Germany, France and United Kingdom. She has won or been a finalist in many art completions, both online and in person, also invited to show at the World Polo championships and the Emersion Exhibition at the Emirates, Wolgan Valley resort.

Her paintings are often thought to be photographs however they go far beyond a simple shot, each piece is meticulously detailed. Her animals hold you with their steady gaze, they evoke a strong emotional response, you can see their personality and soul which comes from her understanding of the individual animal, it comes from the heart with a passion for art that cannot be denied
