"A photo can express a universal humanism, or simply reveal a delicate and poignant truth by exposing a slice of life that might otherwise go unnoticed," said Steve McCurry. It is precisely these discreet and silent truths that I seek to sublimate through often improvised and accidental shots. They can be revealed by the reactions provoked at the sight of my lens, by details of clothing or accessories that can say a lot about their owner, by a melancholic or euphoric air that would betray the mood of a moment, or quite simply by a gesture, a will. This is still what I have found most satisfying and effective in order to arouse emotion. I therefore travel a lot in search of experiences and images to steal and bring back with me. A trip is always a good opportunity to train myself in photography, through encounters, discoveries and attempts. The rest of the time, I live in Paris, the city I love most in the world, happy to be in the midst of the artistic hustle and bustle that has become characteristic of the French capital. Not a week goes by without me haunting the museums and exhibitions that enrich my aspirations, my imagination, my dreams, my regrets.
