Franck Rozet was born in Paris in 1968. Self-taught photographer, videographer and graphic designer, he developed his passion for these artistic disciplines over time.
For many years, Franck devoted himself particularly to artistic nude photography, thus refining his expertise in this delicate field. Gradually, he transforms his pictures into real paintings, and it is in digital art that he finds his privileged means of expression. His constant quest for aesthetics pushes him to relentlessly seek out unusual places and singular atmospheres, thus enriching his visual universe.
Like a birth, each photo becomes a quasi-painting for him, evolving according to the poetry he has cultivated since he was nineteen. Precursor of the neo-pictorialist movement, Franck Rozet highlights feminine beauty in the service of everyone's imagination. Through his lens, he captures feminine curves and fleeting moments with finesse, thus transmitting deep emotion.
In perpetual quest for new colors and emotions, Franck invites us on a journey to the heart of his timeless creations, unfolding before our eyes a fascinating visual panorama.
Franck Rozet's artistic approach in the creation of his digital works is the result of a fusion between physical and digital elements. His process begins with the taking of several preliminary photos, constituting the starting point for his creations. These shots can include landscapes, objects, textures, portraits, even artistic nudes, which are often the basis of his creations.
He then employs collage techniques to reshape the photographs and achieve the desired composition. Playing with colors and shapes, he redraws, cuts out, superimposes or erases as needed. This step offers him the opportunity to explore various visual combinations, resulting in images that are both abstract and realistic.
Once the basic composition has been established, Franck works in the digital domain using image editing software and a graphic tablet. This phase allows him to refine the details, add textures, bring shadows and lights to give a striking depth to the final image.
His working technique is in keeping with the spirit of the neo-pictorialist movement, harmoniously merging the strokes of traditional painting with digital photography. His ambition is to create images that go beyond simple realistic representation to explore the multiple creative potentialities of photography as a medium.
