For my Father ...

The daughter of an advertising illustrator, Natacha fell in love with art and drawing at a very young age. Every evening, her father worked late into the night, and to not disturb him, she would sit on a chair with a piece of paper and do exactly like him, she drew. Without really understanding what this talent meant, she just kept admiring his ability to create realms of existence on paper, to make her dream, and she loved it. He has always been her biggest fan. Even if she were to draw a six-legged purple elephant, he would always say: “I think it's well done" or "You have to draw as you feel".
Since she was able to stand, she walked around with a box of pencils in order to imitate the work of her father.
And so began the adventure of art.

"I started to develop a fascination, founded in my imagination, for the desert, for the Blue Men, the Tuareg, the ultimate desert dwellers. From an Arabic word meaning ‘the God-forsaken people’, they call themselves simply the Imouhar – the Free Men. There is something beautiful about these men; they feel so close, yet so far away.
