Painting by the outstanding Ukrainian painter Mikhail Alekseevich Kublik (1948 birth year), whose artistic heritage is a conceptual chapter in the Ukrainian fine arts.
The title of the work is "Next to Antiquity". In this work the artist depicts a still-life with the objects of the ancient world of the Ukrainian people - on the right hand there is a "stone babas" (kurgan stelae - Polovtsian stone woman, also called Scythian stone woman, over 5000 years old), on the table there are clay vessels of the Tripolye culture period (over 5000 years old). The artist colorfully conveyed sacral attributes and presented a conceptual vision of the historical past.
Once you see Kublik's style, you'll remember it forever. That is how you can characterize Mikhail Alekseevich's work. There is a trace of both Cézanne and Gauguin, but the artist himself declares the original style. Critics often note Kublik M.A. as an outstanding Ukrainian Cubist, his paintings are conceptual. Looking at Kublik's pictures viewer falls in love with nature. This is the artistic legacy of the artist - to make the viewer fall in love with the world around us. And Kublik Michael perfectly copes with this task for over 40 years.
Among other things, pictures Kublik MA enlarged format - an average of 100 * 100 cm, which gives even more pleasure, as to fill the interior, and for gifts. To this day, the master pleases his fans with new ideas, takes an active part in exhibitions, the master paintings are exhibited in galleries and museums, are sold at auctions and adorn prestigious collections in Ukraine and far abroad.
