J'ai voulu en y ajoutant le désert souligner que cette solitude peut parfois, bien qu’aride, être ensoleillée.
Le glacis est construit sur la toile en superposant les tonalités de jaune et comme dans la langue arabe le tableau se lit de droite à gauche.
L’empâtement du personnage comme celui des pas accentuent sa présence.
Fadila MERSALI is born in France in 1971, very young she discovered the passion of drawing. At 13, she became a student of Aline Russ-Colombari in a graphic arts workshop in Marignane (13). In this arts studio for adults, she learned for six years, different techniques of expression sketch charcoal pastel dry and fat, she explores artistic materials. She discovers painting in all its forms: watercolor, acrylic and oil.
In 1990, after an entrance examination, she entered in a school of applied arts in Marseille for three years. After her degree, she chooses to return to more freedom by working in her own studio.
Speaking first with watercolor, it is finally through the oil painting on canvas that she finds expressing her sensitivity.
Child of Provence, Fadila MERSALI paints the sweetness of these landscapes with thousand colors. A committed painter, she also likes to express herself on what touches her every day, the subjects that make our society such as freedom of expression, global warming or the violence of war.
