I do not create my works, I do not think of plots and stories, I do not puzzle over color combinations, arrangement of details nor images – they practically deliver themselves out of my sketches.
It is my works which keep the conversation with me – that is how my unconsciousness knocks on reality’s door, that is how my thoughts turn into images and my feelings shape themselves – that is how the dialogue is born.
Searching for answers to philosophical questions and reaction to events which are happening at this particular moment are clearly seen in my paintings with geometric elements and features – that is mutual work of mind and logics.
My female images are nothing but cognition and exploring the nature of sensibility and femininity. Through a time section one can notice obvious changes happening in women, while the general image and a part of the composition stay still as something stable and rigid. Still, it does not mean that this stable matter will ever remain constant, absolutely not! I am positive that as time goes, my female matter can change and even transform just like the world around, and this comes naturally, as far as each and every living being must change and develop, each and every living being shouldn’t be afraid of evolution, each and every living being ought to feel and accept this evolution, cherish this experience and continue living, being filled with acquired wisdom. I deliberately do not paint realistic paintings, I draw images which slip away from me and change every second – these images cannot be real. So I’m waiting for the one and the only important moment for me – I’m waiting for the image to open its eyes.
Eternity, circles and vegetative elements tie all the works into the single concept and even though you may not see a circle or eternity, they are still there, creating the feeling of fulfillment, of harmony, of completion and of a cycle. Vegetative elements keep connection with both nature, life and life cycle of all the changes – from the very birth to the very death and again rebirth and again death, this endlessly repeating circle-shaped process.
