The “Virtual World” series is trying to present viewers a virtual world in which life, love, death and self-survival experience mutually intertwined together. Actually, this virtual world is also visible in reality, it represents all sorts of assumptions, dreams and speculations in the real world and far ahead into the future. In a virtual world, everywhere is filled with such a delicate sentiment, a bitter sweetness mixed with sorrows and pain. Lonely soul travels back and forth between ideal and reality, this feeling is just like drinking a cup of sweet and fragrant poisonous wine that fascinates people and makes people crazy. The silence, loneliness and detachment in the painting suggest a break from reality and the secular world, and a inward exploration for a barren misty place to settle our mind and our soul, a harmony habitat for our imagination. Here, people can find their innate infatuation and passion, simultaneously, enjoy the beauty of the outside world. Here, people can express their love, hate, and the gone past without reservation, like a sigh vanishing on the hilltop or hidden in the deep river----Are we actually sleeping? Or awake?
