The Lover can show passion for each area of life. Any passion or hobby can be viewed as a kind of affair. Mostly addressed by the public as a participant in a sexual relationship but actually it may have a rather transformative force that could reveal the beauty of the inner self. Represents the intimate relationship of the masculine and feminine in nature.
In its negative manifestation The Lover may be obsessed with the subject of infatuation or may worship outer beauty, closing their eyes for the intrinsic values and craving for objects of attraction outside of themselves.
Examples are the stories of Romeo and Juliet, Beauty and the Beast, The Frog Prince, etc.
