In a shop I saw these lovely white hyacinths. It was March and there still was some snow. They were the first spring flowers of the year. I've put them in a pretty flower pot and took some photographs.
After that I created a room for this composing. The window is from a photo I've taken of the St. Georg's Church of the Isle of Reichenau in Germany. I very much like that ancient architecture. The picture frame I took from a mirror I own and combined everything to a "welcome springtime" theme in green.

Zeichnen und Malen oder allgemein, was unter Kunst zählt, ist für mich eine Leidenschaft, seit ich einen Stift halten und Lesen konnte. Für die finanzielle Sicherheit wählte ich jedoch einen "Brotberuf". Die Kunst, in vielen Formen, ist aber immer meine wahre Bestimmung geblieben. Ich experimentiere gerne mit verschiedenen Techniken und habe vor einiger Zeit die schier unbegrenzten Möglichkeiten in Photoshop entdeckt. Unzählige Bücher über Kunst und über verschiedene Künstler habe ich in meinen inzwischen nicht wenigen Lebensjahren gesammelt und gelesen und mich immer wieder von ihnen neu inspirieren lassen. Kunst ist somit für mich ein wichtiger und wundervoller Ausgleich in einer Welt, die immer mehr entartet und aus den Fugen gerät. Kunst ist für mich wie ein Strohhalm, das mir Luft in einer mehr und mehr in Dummheit und Stumpfheit versinkenden Welt gibt.
