I had a sleeping dream of this lady. She was in this beautifully designed, navy and white geometric dress and wearing her straw hat. She had her little white, loyal poodle at her side. She was franticly rushing around Paris, trying to keep up with life. When I awoke, I decided to paint her. I wanted to place her in a peaceful, wonderful paradise where she could stay with her little, loving, companion dog indefinitely. She is standing, looking towards the Eifel tower of Paris in the distance. She is overlooking a glorious, fragrant garden of lilac trees, lavender flowers as well as other garden flowers. There is a man and a woman walking through the garden. Half way up the path, there is an artist with an easel and paint supplies, creating an artwork of this lovely scene. The sun is setting, casting it's orange glow over everything. There is even a small spider on the 'Papier d'art' sign. There is a tiny bit of glitter added to the paint to enhance the sparkle of the sunbeams. This is an mixed media impressionist acrylic painting of a lady in Paris in the Springtime. The artwork is on a wrapped canvas 16" W x 20" H. Thank you for your interest in my art.
