In this painting, I wanted to highlight the female figure I usually use in my paintings by using the power of colors, and convey the hallucinatory charm and attractiveness of colors to the other person. The sky in the background actually indicates that the woman represents the rainbow. Since red in the rainbow represents life, I placed it on the cheekbones of the woman, and one of the most striking places, her lip, because turquoise represents art.

Hi! My name is Beren Özyurt. I was born on 23 February 2004 in Istanbul. I'm a 16-year-old young painter and I'm trying to save money for college and for my dreams by selling my paintings. I have been interested in art from an early age. I started playing piano when I was 10 years old because I had a long interest in music. For 6 years, I improved myself a lot and played jazz and classical pieces by composers such as Chopin, Bach, Mozart, Scott Joplin, Rachmaninov. During this period, I participated in various festivals, exams and competitions. In 2020, I got my certificate in piano instrument from London College Of Music. I am now making music videos on my youtube channel called Beren Özyurt.
With the exhibitions and workshops I participated in three years ago, my interest in painting started to increase. At first, I was making paintings by myself without training. I took part in a group exhibition called Course Of Self in May 2019 as the youngest artist. My painting called African Woman was exhibited. It was reported in various newspapers, magazines and websites. So I decided that I wanted to be more professional in painting and now I am a student of painter Mahir Güven.
