After receiving a revelatory experience about the highest human potentiality of creativity I embarked upon a journey of developing and honing my skills in visual perception and communication.

As a self taught artist I began with digital media exploring the potentiality for expression using a Wacom tablet and Corel painter uncovering the kaleidoscope of images and symbols rearranging then in an infinite variety of patterns to express something akin the inner realm of my psyche.

Eventually I became disenchanted with the distortion of interface and opted for a more tangible physical medium, that of graphite, oil, pigment and parchment.

Currently I would describe my style as an exploration of the archetypal essence of the human condition.  Others would describe it as Imaginary Realism, Visionary Art or Fantastic Realism.

Using the classical painting techniques of the old masters coupled with the philosophical disposition of contemporary society the process of painting for me is a meditation. A meditation on the meaning of the individual spirit within the form of the world.

An artist is both a poet and a painter at the same time. The purpose of his being is to discover the quintessence of an idea worth capturing and communicating that in written form or visual schema. As he begins to understand the symbolism behind the painting process he can begin to incorporate the spirit of the process into the cocept of his communication. Invariably the importance of the artistic process lies in discovery, the discovery of a though worth communicating.

The success of an artist I believe comes from his idealisms and what exactly he is trying to communicate through his art. If the idea is too individualistic than it looses its mass appeal and connection to the universal human experiences if it is too abstract then people cannot relate it with their experiences.
