Les œuvres d'art originales désignent toute œuvre considérée comme authentique et non une copie ou une imitation des œuvres originales d'un artiste. Les œuvres d'art originales peuvent être n'importe quel type de peinture, de sculpture, de performance ou d'autres médias. Il existe de nombreux types de supports originaux. Les techniques mixtes comprennent les peintures à l'huile, acryliques et aquarelles. Pour les peintures d'atelier qui témoignent d'un savoir-faire artisanal, cette attribution doit être davantage nuancée. Bien qu'elles puissent être moins précieuses pour différentes raisons, les reproductions et les copies ont eu un impact considérable sur notre expérience. Ils atteignent un public plus large que les originaux et agissent comme un tonique contre la marchandisation. L'œuvre originale pourrait également faire référence à la première œuvre, qui précède toujours toutes les autres. Il peut également faire référence à un prototype ou à un modèle à partir duquel d'autres œuvres peuvent être réalisées. Chaque œuvre présente de grandes similitudes avec l'original.

I will always remember my favorite philosophy professor, who commented about the art of painting "if painters wanted to an exact reproduction, then why not just take a photograph?" Your painting style must be infused with passion--your own interpretation of the world around you....
My art is unique and, although strongly influenced by modern painters, it is issued of none of the past movements. It addresses the social struggles in the 21st century--it is mostly social commentary. It is aimed at conveying the unspeakable, the taboos, and give a voice to the voiceless--displace beauty to redefine it.
For instance, "the 21st Century Crucifixion" is an ode to the woman, and her daily assassination in modern society--where there is an extreme regression, as far as women's rights are concerned. "The Other Journey" encourages people to seek completion, within themselves, and to live their passions to fulfillment. "Black is Blue" is a silent ode to all the black artists who have died, while trying to express the blues inherent to their life, those who experience daily racism and yet prevail through the power of their mind. "Children of the Pyramids" asks questions about the origins of knowledge and how generosity is often rewarded by cruelty.
It is foremost instinctual, symbolic, and especially unique. It is utterly contemporary, because it embodies the multiculturalism of modern societies. It is the Western north, with a touch of South.
