Florina Breazu is a contemporary Moldovan painter. Beyond her role as a creator, Florina has actively participated as a curator, playing a pivotal role in organizing successful exhibitions that have enriched the artistic landscape. Her dedication to nurturing artistic talent was evident during her tenure as a teacher, a role she fulfilled until 2020, imparting knowledge and guidance to aspiring artists. Florina's passion for the visual arts is underscored by her leadership roles within the industry. Serving as the president of the Painting Department, she made significant strides in advancing the craft.

Currently holding the esteemed position of President of the Union of Visual Artists in Moldova, Florina champions the interests of fellow artists in the region while facilitating the global exposure of their works. Her leadership in this capacity reflects her commitment to fostering a vibrant and supportive artistic community.

Florina Breazu's artistic journey began at the prestigious A. Șciusev School of Fine Arts during her formative years. Building on this foundation, she pursued her passion for painting at the Alexandru Plămădeală Republican College of Fine Arts in Chisinau, where she embraced a more academic approach to the arts. Witnessing the dissolution of the Soviet Union inspired Florina to explore diverse fields within visual arts, leading her to the Faculty of Decorative Arts and Design at the Ioan Andreescu Academy of Visual Arts in Cluj-Napoca. Here, she earned a degree in Textile Arts, unveiling a new realm of creativity.

Subsequently, Florina transferred to George Enescu University of Arts in Iași, Romania, further refining her skills and broadening her artistic horizons. Currently pursuing a PhD at the National University of Arts in Bucharest, she delves deeper into the intricacies of the artistic world.

Throughout her journey, Florina Breazu has been fortunate to work in various art centers in Chisinau, Cluj-Napoca, Iasi, and Bucharest, each contributing significantly to her growth and development as an artist. Her story is one of unwavering dedication, artistic exploration, and a commitment to fostering a vibrant and thriving artistic community.
