Eszter Kerdö is a contemporary artist originally from Hungary. She moved to Berlin to study as she was 20 and graduated at the UDK Berlin (Universität der Künste / MA) in the subject experimental textile design. Since then she lives and works in Berlin. As you can see she actually comes from the textile arts but because you can't limit art she started very early with the painting besides her textile work. She loves colors and surfaces and she experiments with different techniques and expressions on canvas. She has a very expressionistic handwriting with big brush stroke and strong colors. Her themes come from nature, travel, live, from her imagination and desires. Her favorite painters are the expressionists.
