Miguel Esquivel Kuello es artista visual y músico, nacido en Colombia. Vive y trabaja en París.
Su investigación personal abarca el arte en sus diversas manifestaciones: pintura, dibujo y grabado, pero también fotografía, videoarte y música. Inició su formación artística en Bogotá, donde se graduó en Bellas Artes en la Universidad de la Sabana (1996), mientras estudiaba fotografía en la Escuela ACOPROCINE y en el Museo de Arte Moderno, y practicaba música con la Orquesta Cinfonica Juvenil de Bogotá. En París perfeccionó la técnica del grabado en el Atelier CONTRAPOINT y obtuvo una Maestría en Estética e Historia del Arte en la Université Paris 8.
Tiempo y dimensión, atmósfera y claroscuro, diario y collage, erotismo y encaje , inconsciencia y emoción… estas son las ideas y conceptos que juegan y luchan para finalmente unirse.
