Maria Paola Remondini nasce a Nogara, in provincia di Verona, nel 1933. Fin da bambina dimostra grandi doti artistiche, disegnando con semplice legno carbonizzato su cartone. In ragione del suo talento, a soli 12 anni il Maestro Semeghini la accoglie come allieva a Verona, per insegnarle a dipingere a olio con la tecnica a spatola. Ma la tappa più importante nella formazione dell’artista risale certamente al periodo trascorso a Burano (Venezia, 1973), dove si avvicina al Chiarismo, movimento artistico nato negli anni ’30 e basato su una pittura dai toni chiari e luminosi. L’incontro con la scuola di Burano porta la Remondini ad affinare uno stile personale dal segno leggero e intriso di luce, basato sulla valorizzazione del colore rispetto al disegno. L’artista, infatti, dipinge i suoi quadri direttamente, senza effettuare alcuna bozza preparatoria. Di volta in volta, attraverso le atmosfere oniriche dei suoi quadri, la pittrice ci conduce nei luoghi della sua infanzia, ci mostra le persone che ne hanno fatto parte, ci svela paesaggi naturali fiabeschi e incontaminati.
L’artista ha all’attivo importanti mostre (più di 100) sia in Italia che all’estero (Svizzera, Germania, Olanda, Stati Uniti). Numerosi sono i premi di pittura vinti lungo la sua carriera, di cui l’ultimo nel 2009: la Targa d’Oro 2009 Premio Biennale di Venezia “I due Mori”.
Oggi la pittrice vive e lavora a Como, dove possiede uno studio personale nel centro della città.

Maria Paola Remondini, born in 1933, in Nogara, Province of Verona. Even as a child she showed her great artistic talent by drawing with just charred wood on a cardboard. Because of her talent, already with 12 years, the master Semeghini has admitted her as a student to refine her technique of palette knife (oil on canvas) in Verona. But the most important stage in the further development of the artist went back certainly to the period where she has developed in Burano (Venice, 1973), the oil fine line, which is known as “Chiarismo”.
“Chiarismo” is an artistic movement that has developed in the 1930s. Her paintings are characterized by bright and vibrant colors that belong to her personal style. Her special ability is painting her pictures without sketching them out.
From time to time by the dreamlike atmosphere of her images, the artist takes us to the places of her childhood, shows us people who were involved in her live, as well as fabulous and unspoiled natural landscapes.
The artist had in her career important exhibitions (over 100), in Italy and abroad like in Switzerland, Germany, Netherlands and the United States. Throughout her artistic career she received numerous medals and paintings awards, including the Last: La Targa d'Oro 2009 Premio Biennale di Venezia "I Due Mori".
Today the artist lives and works in Como, where she also has her studio.

Maria Paola Remondini, geboren im Jahre 1933, in Nogara, Provinz von Verona. Schon als Kind zeigte sich ihre große künstlerische Begabung, indem sie mit einfach verkohltem Holz auf Karton zeichnete. Ihres Talents wegen, schon mit 12 Jahren, hat der Meister Semeghini in Verona sie als Student aufgenommen, um ihre Spachteltechnik (Öl auf Leinwand) zu verfeinern. Aber die wichtigste Phase bei der weiteren Entwicklung der Künstlerin geht mit Sicherheit auf die Zeit zurück, wo sie in Burano (Venedig, 1973), den Ölfeinstrich entwickelt hat, der als „Chiarismo“ bekannt ist.
„Chiarismo“ ist eine künstlerische Bewegung, die sich in den 30er Jahren entwickelt hat. Ihre Gemälde sind durch helle und leuchtende Farben gekennzeichnet, die zu Ihrem persönlichen Stil gehören. Ihre besondere Fähigkeit besteht darin, dass Sie Ihre Bilder ohne vorzuzeichnen oder zu skizzieren, malt.
Von Zeit zu Zeit durch die traumhafte Atmosphäre Ihrer Bilder, führt die Künstlerin uns an die Orte Ihrer Kindheit, zeigt uns Menschen, die beteiligt waren, sowie fabelhafte und unberührte Naturlandschaften.
Die Künstlerin hat in ihrer Karriere wichtige Ausstellungen (über 100) gemacht, sowie in Italien und im Ausland (Schweiz, Deutschland, Niederlande, USA). Im Laufe Ihrer künstlerischen Tätigkeit sind Ihr zahlreiche Medaillen und Gemälde Preise zugesprochen worden, darunter als Letztes: La Targa d’Oro 2009 Premio Biennale di Venezia "I due Mori".
Heute lebt und arbeitet die Künstlerin in Como, wo Sie auch Ihr Studio in der Innenstadt hat.
