Pintura 174 (2018)

Pintura 174: Es una pintura abstracta sin inspiración previa, es decir, no se basa en una idea de algo (por ejemplo la amistad) o referente a una imagen en la realidad, (por ejemplo, un paisaje). Automatismo. Es la pintura por la pintura misma, con libertad total, sin condicionamientos. Una forma llama a otra, un color a otro etc. Así hasta que se “completa” el cuadro y se da por terminada la obra. Recuerdo haber empezado con esa figura negra central y a partir de ella el cuadro se fue completando. Por momentos pintar es un diálogo y la pintura final la imagen de una conversación, entre el artista y la obra. La llamé pintura 174 tomando el número al azar, como para hacer una serie de pinturas comenzando por ese número.
