Portrait of a white rabbit in a golden oval antique carved frame. The head of the fluffy animal is decorated with blooming pink cabbage with dewdrops on the leaves. The rabbit's feet are folded at the front and protrude beyond the frame. The front leg is tied with a black ribbon bow, which symbolizes “black” affection for the object of one's love.
I remember the time when I was 15 and fell in love for the first time. So, I stand in front of the mirror and look at myself and, although I see my own reflection, a part of me is immersed in inner sensations so new, unusual and sweet that time turns off. Thoughts disappear, and you become soft fluffy and not at all smart. These minutes of loving admiration for oneself stretch into infinity.

Natalie Levkovska es una pintora e ilustradora lituana experimentada. En 1995, obtuvo un título en procesamiento de piedra, hueso y madera de un artista maestro (Abramtsevo College of Applied Arts), y en 1999 completó una licenciatura en diseño de vestuario (Vilnius Academy of Arts). Luego se convirtió en diseñadora de vestuario para la industria del cine y más tarde en diseñadora de pieles. En 2006, decidió cambiar de vida: se mudó a Londres para trabajar en un estudio de diseño y comenzó a experimentar con la pintura al óleo.
Crea obras de arte simples y poéticas, mezclando surrealismo y arte ingenuo. Su universo artístico es una especie de realismo mágico: le gusta mostrar objetos de la vida real y tratar de resaltar la pulsación mágica del espacio. Las tramas de sus creaciones están tomadas de su vida: un claro de abedules cerca de su casa en diferentes épocas del año, el retrato de un ser querido, su pueblo en la nieve ...
