Guillaume Werle es un escultor belga-estadounidense contemporáneo que trabaja en Montrouge, donde tiene su taller desde 1995. Su actividad artística gira en torno a cuatro ejes diferenciados: investigación, creación, producción y mediación artística, sin por ello mezclarlos.
La obra de Guillaume Werle demuestra una reflexión profunda sobre el lugar del hombre en el mundo. Se apoya en técnicas como el modelado clásico a partir de modelos vivos, la toma de impresiones y la reproducción parcial o total en yeso, mientras explora las posibilidades que ofrecen estos procesos.
Guillaume Werle participa habitualmente en exposiciones colectivas e individuales, donde presenta obras diseñadas para dialogar con diferentes espacios.
