Brain Storming (2016) Pintura por Sisso

I am Sisso (Sisak Rafaelyan). I was born in 1985 in Yerevan. I started painting when I was a child. I went to the National Centre of Aesthetics in Yerevan. I graduated from the Terlemezyan State Art Collage in 2003 and the Graphics Department of the Yerevan State Academy of Fine Arts in 2009. I have participated in exhibitions in Modern Art Museum of Armenia, 2013, "Bureaucrat" book store (solo exhibition), 2011, Boyadjian Gallery, 2007, and ARvesT Expo' 2015, Yerevan. Some of my works belong to private art collectors in Belgium, the Netherlands and Austria.
I'm a primitivist artist. Why do I paint? I paint because words do not suffice to express what I feel or want to say. It has to be simple and clear for everybody; each person understands things in his own way. And my artwork is the expression of my understanding. There are no hidden themes or taboos for me.
