La peinture sur papier d'Éric Bourdon intitulée « X45BKR$ » est l’expression de ce qui fait retour vers l’ancrage originaire du peintre dans son œuvre. Le monde de l’art, l’esthétique est une voie d’accès déjà privilégiée par Merleau-Ponty pour sonder la profondeur du visible et esquisser une nouvelle ontologie dans 'Le visible et l’invisible'.
De Lille à Biarritz, de Biarritz à Dubaï… l’œuvre d’art ne peut être approchée que par le sentir, c’est-à-dire par un « être avec le monde » dans toute la profondeur et l’étendue de cet être et de ce monde, dans une communication ou un échange (qui résonnent avec l’approche théorique de la cognition selon la notion d’enac-tion, nommée enac-tivisme) à travers lesquels la distinction de la subjectivité et de l’objectivité est tout simplement abolie : « l’abstraction est le propre de l’art parce que l’art est la vérité du sentir ».
Note : peinture acrylique originale sur papier dessin extra-fort à grain Carte d’Art 340g de Sennelier (D340). Le carré de papier de 20x20cm est collé sur un support en carton de qualité de mêmes dimensions. Épaisseur totale : 3mm.

Éric Bourdon's painting on paper titled "X45BKR$" is the expression of what brings back to the painter’s original anchoring in his work. The world of art and aesthetics is an access route already favored by Merleau-Ponty for probing the depth of the visible and sketching a new ontology in 'The visible and the invisible'.
From Lille to Biarritz, from Biarritz to Dubai… the work of art can only be approached by feeling, that is to say by a "being with the world" in all the depth and extent of this being and this world, in a communication or an exchange (which resonate with the theoretical approach of cognition according to the notion of enac-tion, called enac-tivism) through which the distinction between subjectivity and objectivity is quite simply abolished : "abstraction is characteristic of art because art is the truth of feeling".
Note : original acrylic painting on extra strong drawing paper with grain Carte d'Art 340g by Sennelier (D340). The 20x20cm square of paper is glued to a piece of quality cardboard of the same dimensions. Total thickness : 3mm.

Bourdon's works have in common vivid colors and unpremeditated pencil strokes, expressive of raw enthusiasm in the art brut or Outsider Art manner. In an era concerned with control, certainty, and security, Bourdon describes his artistic technique as spotlighting the creative richness of chance and accident.
