" All which is true is not naïve, but all which is naïve is true, of the prickly, original and rare truth, without naivety of true beauty... " Diderot
A naive painting is above all the fruit of the imagination and the spontaneity of the artist, a raging hunger of poetry sometimes brings a refusal of the realism. The naive vision puts the everyday life in dream and this remodelled or imaginary world addresses the sensibility and in the heart of each, it is a mirror in which we can look and dream in his turn. The naive painters often have a certain maturity and nevertheless show a surprising youth and a magnificent coolness of soul, when they are in front of their painting, they forget the rest of the world, they are happy!
