Biography
Yaacov Ye'hezkel Corda represents two artistic currents conjugated in his pictorial works. He was educated in the painting of the Italian tradition of the Renaissance, the Uffizi in Florence, with which he won a great international painting prize in Corsica, his country of birth. As well as his job as an advertising draftsman and comic book. It is this fusion and its affluents that represents his painting. Note that he is one of the rare artists to have obtained the diploma of "official painter of the French army". Pop-art, Jewish and Chassidic art, drawing and painting of a soul traveling for emotion, it is a human expressionism in perpetual research that invites you to ink, acrylic, or digital painting . He is also a writer and lecturer.
Like every artist, I hope to make my place in the world of artists, buyers and sellers of paintings. I consider myself a craftsman who has an exceptional job. It seems to me that one never comes to the end of one's art; unless you've been dead for a long time and have forgotten it forever. But since in truth the death of matter, energy, and light do not exist, artistic research and the artist's human encounter with his art can not be interrupted. That's right, I do not have a single style as I do not have a single thought. If I am me, my paintings are also the meeting with others. If I want to search, to look for myself when I paint, when I draw, when I invent a personal reality, it is to better discover me and discover the heart of reality. If I could, I will go to the heart of the matter to demonstrate by the art that even the identical is always extremely different!

My creative research
My creative research begins, either in the moment when I get to work by a sort of personal conquest of my artistic possibilities, or by the deep, almost violent sensations that win me. Like a powerful desire to live that seeks its oxygen, its spasms, its extreme ardor of an expected renewal. How to tell you ? In reality, I never make a single painting but always a series! because even when I work on a single work I export it already in all the aspects of this series which will use the same functioning, the same pictorial principle. It's always my state of mind! as a scientist looking for an idea that will radically change the structure of all his future research! Thus, I invest my whole being in a new way of transcribing my artistic humanity. Yet between two series, I forget! or it is my hand that forgets or sometimes, I do not want to paint like that anymore! So I start from scratch. Because of this, my painting is impressionist and pop-art and then only line and drawing or only colors. It is as if to be sincere, I would say: it is not me who makes my art; it's my art that makes me!
