Biography
Xi Chen, a Chinese painter living in France, began painting at the age of four and was influenced by her grandfather who was also an artist. Over time, she downplayed the importance of details in her works, playing with colors, using thick layers of paint, and replaced her brushes with spatulas. Chen's artistic language centers on the interpretation of nature and its variety of colors and light.
