Z Tram Seat is a project based on the restoration and adaptation for home, office, hotel, restaurant etc. use of an original 1960's tram seat. After long research I was able to buy 15 original seats from the National Czech Tram company. These seats come from a Tatra T3 tram and are from 1962/1963. The silver part is made from stamped steel and the red shell from high quality fiberglass. These seats are all original and restored/modified to perfection. The steel frames are chemically dipped for paint and rust removal and after all welding is done they are protected inside and out with a coat of zinc, applied by electrolysis. After that the body work is done, exactly like on a car. Primer is sprayed and block sanded for an impeccable surface. Because 95% of the work is preparation I decided to offer to my clients the possibility to choose any top coat combination they want. In other words you have total freedom to decide what color suits you best and I will apply the paint according to your wishes. The quality of these seats is second to none and be sure they cannot be found anywhere!
