So at the beginning of January for the start of 2021 i thought it would be a good idea to go back to doing Project 365 in my photography again as the format is very good for keeping me producing and learning.

At this exhibition in Moravia New York with my husband Patrick Miller I showed the locals some of my art and also displayed the paintings within paintings.....by TURNING OFF the lights..... to let them shine.

I was selected to be published in the CAPTURE ROCHESTER collection of fine art photography published in November 2008.

Remodernism is an alternative to the established High Art hegemony, known as Post-Modernism, and its institutionalized cynicism and ironic detachment. As an Art Movement, Remodernism is somewhat unusual, insofar as Remodernism is defined by the Remodernist painters’ intentions, rather than by any formal qualities of the Remodernist artwork. In other words, Remodernism is a way of thinking about art, and the purpose of art, rather than a specific way of making it. Briefly, Remodernist painters do not think that Modern Art is rubbish, Remodernist painters do not believe that communication via art is impossible, and Remodernist painters do believe that one of the legitimate goals of a Remodernist painters' art can be the sincere expression of an authentic personal spirituality. Spirituality in Remodernist art does not equal religion. Religion is about beliefs and following rules. Spirituality is about the search for truth and Love.

I do not work from images around me but from ideas and feelings using allegorical icons and motifs to present my work to a wider audience...mindscapes of my life.

I love to read and discuss and share my ideas and ultimately that is the satisfaction I get from my work ... it is a delight when my work touches someone elses life and makes them smile or nod with understanding... to me that is the most cherished of compliments....

I am happy and most of my work reflects that but also I have a social consciousness that despairs at the things we are doing to our planet and if i can serve to 'prick the consciousness' of the viewer then i will do so and without reservation...

i do not believe is sitting on the fence as a passive observer and wish to record in some way something about our contemporary society and the issues and dilemmas we face...
