High school student, Vincent Monluc assiduously followed evening classes for live models at the Beaux-Arts in Poitiers. During his years of study at the Faculty of Fine Arts, he painted and sold his watercolors during the summer. After obtaining the license of Plastic Arts at the University of Bordeaux III - France, he passed the CAPES and taught in a high school in Le Havre in Normandy. At the same time he passed the entrance examination in the cinema department of the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris. After having won the Grand Jury Prize of the National Animation Film Festival for his first short film "Parfum de Nuit", he left the National Education and made a career in the cartoon as a director., Animator, artist storyboard, artist layout and studio general manager.
His passion has always been painting, especially watercolor. He always painted outdoors, following the example of the great masters of Impressionism, observing colors, lights, movement, people, everyday life. His reference masters are Joaquin Sorolla Spanish painter and John Singer Sargent American watercolorist. The countries where Vincent likes to paint are France, Italy, Spain and Vietnam where he currently lives.
