I use charcoal pencils, stumps, rags, my fingers and different erasers.
I play with the possibilities that charcoal naturally offers and that our prehistoric ancestors had already understood intuitively.
The blending, precise, grainy, smooth, contrasting, soft effects, etc. give the illusion of light and shadows that sculpt the face and bring out the texture of the skin, the moisture in the eye, the smooth in the mouth...
