Viktor Horiaiev is a contemporary Ukrainian artist. He is called "The Artist with the Golden Brush'', “Ukrainian Klimt”, “ A Fantasy Master”, whose touch on the canvas creates magic, and enlivens the unmanifest world of images, fantasies and dreams. He is a transmitter between worlds, where the invisible creates the visible, where the internal controls the external, and the magic of the image begins to act.

Horiaiev shares his perspective on the beauty of people and the world, encoding it in his paintings and enchanted panels. This artist’s distinctive individual style, which sets him apart from other painters, is created by combining a realistic and ornamental painting style with a variety of painting techniques and materials. A combination of numerous artistic movements, including the Pre-Raphaelites and Art Nouveau, may be seen in his paintings. His research also includes experimental modern art, such as monochromatic paintings made with silver and gold foil. His decorative panel-bas-reliefs, in which the influence of the Aztec and Mayan cultures is felt and fairy-tale characters come to life, and where the artist combines various materials: ceramics, casting, leather, wood, semi-precious stones, faux ivory, horn, polymer clay, etc., are astounding in their complexity, unusual composition, and accuracy of details.

Viktor Horiaiev was born in 1966, in Ukraine. He exhibited his works in Germany, Ukraine, France and China. His works are in private collections in Europe and in the United States of America.
